MathEdge Fantasy Sports LLC, a tech startup company co-founded
by Ben Galluzzo and Dave Kennedy, has won the
Ben Franklin Technology Partners Big Idea Contest. This contest is open
to new businesses in Central and Northern Pennsylvania, and awards two prize
packages worth over $150,000 each. MathEdge’s idea is an app named Draft
Hog that uses a mathematical algorithm to help the customer draft a competitive
fantasy football team. It will launch in the summer of 2016.
Galluzzo and Kennedy previously won the TechCelerator@Carlisle’s business plan
contest in the fall of 2015. CONGRATULATIONS, Dr. Galluzzo and Dr. Kennedy!
